Mary + Mitchell | Wedding
Mary and Mitchell planned the perfect mix of their styles for their big day. Mary wanted to make sure to capture the beauty of the PNW while Mitchell wanted to bring in his passion for golf, being the golf pro he is!
Mary and her bridesmaids spent the morning relaxing, getting ready and having a special brunch where Mary gave them each a hand-written note and ‘love knot’ bracelet to wear for her big day. Mary made sure to keep her dress under wraps and had a special reveal for her girls, it was so sweet! While the girls were having their fun, the guys spent time on the course hanging out and grabbing a beer from the golf cart bar, it’s a real thing!
Their wedding took place in a small clearing in the woods, which sits in the middle of the 18-hole golf course. The ceremony started off with the officiant reading letters written by the bride and groom to their parents. It was such a heartfelt moment as they both thanked them for raising them to be the man and woman they had become and an especially touching letter from the bride to her father looking down on her that day. Not only did their ceremony give back to their parents, but instead of giving their guests gifts the couple gave in their honor to the Special Olympics of Thurston County.
Every detail of their wedding held so much heart and meaning, and was not only about themselves becoming one, but about their families and friends becoming one as well with them.
