Jill + Joel | Wedding
Growing up Jill always talked to her Dad about her wedding day dreams, however, she never imagined that he wouldn’t be there. As one of her dad’s brothers walked her down the aisle (to the groom's favorite song, Jolene, by Ray Lamontagne) the grey sky parted and rays of sun burst through. “It was a completely surreal experience, almost like being on the set of a movie. At that moment, everything in the world was perfect. I knew it was my dad smiling down from up above."
The leatherwork, fringe, headbands, lettering, woodwork & triangle walls were just some of the items handcrafted by the Bride herself. And it was also important to Jill that her bridesmaids were comfortable, (especially, since four of them were pregnant!). She worked with each of the girls to select their bohemian inspired dresses, and as you can see, they all looked AMAZING! The flower girls wore dresses inspired by Wendy from Peter Pan and instead of carrying a basket of petals, they carried white fringe clutches and tossed crystals down the aisle. Crystals. I mean how more glam could you get!
